I hope you get excited when I tell you that God has much more in store for you! The story of your life isn’t over and there are many exciting chapters to come! The same thing is true about Northview. The story of our church began some 26 years ago and there have been a lot of exciting twists and turns, but it isn’t over yet!

The apostle Paul was keenly aware of this when he wrote those words in Philippians 3:12. Nothing stunts spiritual growth more that believing that we have already arrived at perfection and don’t need to go any further! Paul’s biblical admonition is for us is to move forward. His call for each of us is to press on, and realize how much more God has for us to attain! To believe that we have already received all that God is willing for us to receive is to end our epic saga before God is done with it.

The story of our lives and the life of Northview will be fulfilled in God’s will only when we turn the page, move ahead, and “take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

Prayer Focus: Pray these simple words, “Lord help me to realize that You are not done with me yet. Help me know that the story You have written for my life and the life of my church is far from being over. We are not perfect. We don’t know it all or have it all. Lead me to the Next Chapter that You have for me, for Northview, and for the people that are all around us. Help us to be exactly what You want us to be.”
