Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!
I Chronicles 4:10
A few years ago, many of us became familiar with this portion of scripture when Bruce Wilkinson wrote about it in his best selling book, “The Prayer of Jabez”.
When God enlarges your territory, your circle of influence is greater. Your opportunity to connect with others is increased. The positive influence you have on others inspires them to positively influence the people in their lives. It is a gift that keeps on giving.
Like in the prayer of Jabez, our church has been praying and asking God to provide an opportunity for Northview Christian Life Church to reach more people in our community, or territory! God has heard our prayers and revealed His plan to us. Isn’t it exciting too see God’s hand upon such an incredible expansion and know that we are right in the middle of it?!
Prayer Focus: Take time to thank God for blessing us with a larger auditorium. Pray that it will be a light in our community that draws people to our church. Continue to ask God, “What is my part? What can I do?” Pray that God will continue to show us favor, bless us, and enlarge our territory and circle of influence.
